Nepali Rituals

Nepal has amazing rituals in practice like Kumari pratha, chaupadi pratha, Deukee pratha, bal bibaha, child marriage, polyandry marriage system, polygamy system. It is very good place for cultural studies and sociological researches. This country is a living cultural museum and very rich in ethnicity. The people of Nepal still preserve different amazing rituals. The rituals are either based on religion or related to myths. These rituals started long since and have been deeply rooted in the mind and lives of local people . Some rituals are regarded  superstitious and voices are raised for it’s abolishment. Some rituals are purely cultural.
