Nepal after 2015 Earthquake

Are you in Nepal after 2015 earthquake? We all believe that the tectonic activities formed the great Himalayas. Kathmandu valley once believed a Sea is now a land mass. The Earthquake of 2015 April and continuous aftershock’s destroyed few houses of Kathmandu and made big damage to 12 districts of Nepal taking life of almost 10,000 people. The quake made many homeless and injured.

The world is full of Good people who believe in mutuality. They became very open to Nepali people and helped by heart. Many came here themselves and person and many more send their good wishes and valuable money. In every society there is class and in cast based society like Nepal it is even more important.

It was only the houses broken, the rich people had grains inside which they could bring out, make a temporary house themselves for this monsoon of 2015 and start making new constructions from autumn of the year. It is not everybody they needed help but as government and international organizations kept all in a same basket, the huge amount brought out not much significant result. Often there is news that the help provided has reached only to those who have power, link to governmental as well as nongovernmental organizations and not really up to those who were in real need.

It is nice to help people who cannot build their house and contribute the fund for construction of social institutions like schools, health posts etc but most of the fund that has come Nepal through international organizations has gone to non prior area. The Nepal government has thousand of army, police, civil service people and people don’t trust it and give it to organizations like Mercy Corps, UNICEF which has (let’s say few hundred manpower), how they can utilize that attractive fund taking to most needy ones. And it is people who should become ethical at this critical time. Let’s look at the dead ones – how much money does one need. If we are in need we should seek help but needless seeking makes one poor from the depth of Soul.

Social media has done a great positive impact to collect the fund through large circulation of images but it has almost become a fashion to do a little and post showy pictures on social media. Here who is doer and who is receiver. It should have been done without any sense of “I’’ but …

Again we should all stand united for good goal. Let all beings in misery feel that there is someone to help. We together can make Nepal a good country.
